What You Will Do

  • Design, develop and maintain enterprise-grade Java applications using modern architecture principles
  • Build scalable RESTful APIs and microservices using Spring Boot
  • Integrate GenAI capabilities into enterprise applications using leading LLM platforms and APIs
  • Develop intelligent backend services supporting conversational AI, semantic search and enterprise knowledge assistants
  • Implement Retrieval-Augmented Generation (RAG) pipelines using enterprise data sources
  • Collaborate with Product Managers, Architects, QA Engineers and DevOps teams throughout the software lifecycle
  • Optimise application performance, scalability and security for cloud deployments
  • Write clean, maintainable and well-tested code following engineering best practices
  • Participate in code reviews, design discussions and technical solutioning
  • Stay current with evolving AI technologies and identify opportunities to enhance enterprise applications through intelligent automation

What You Need to Succeed

  • 3-8 years of experience combining strong software engineering fundamentals with modern AI capabilities
  • Deep proficiency in Java 17+, Spring Boot, Spring MVC, Spring Security, and Hibernate/JPA
  • Backend development expertise: REST APIs, microservices architecture, event-driven architecture, JWT/OAuth2
  • Experience integrating enterprise applications with OpenAI, Azure OpenAI, or equivalent LLM platforms
  • Retrieval-Augmented Generation (RAG) and vector database experience, Pinecone, ChromaDB, FAISS, or Azure AI Search
  • AI SDK and orchestration framework experience, LangChain, Spring AI, or Semantic Kernel

What Will Give You an Edge

  • AI-assisted software development experience using GitHub Copilot, Cursor, or similar engineering assistants
  • Experience evaluating AI-generated code and outputs for quality, security, and production readiness
  • Cloud and container experience, AWS/Azure/Google Cloud, Docker, Kubernetes
