About This Role
The AI Product Manager is the role GCCs are struggling most to fill in 2026, it requires rare combinations of product instinct, AI/ML literacy, domain knowledge, and stakeholder communication. You will own the product for an internal or customer-facing AI platform, working at the intersection of what AI can do, what users need, and what the business can deliver. This is a senior PM role for someone who understands both the opportunity and the operational complexity of production AI.
What You Will Do
- Own the product vision, strategy, and roadmap for an enterprise AI platform or AI-powered product capability
- Define AI use cases with rigorous business case analysis, quantified impact, measurable success metrics, and realistic feasibility assessment
- Work directly with data scientists and ML engineers to translate business requirements into technical specifications, understanding model limitations, training data requirements, and inference constraints
- Own the user experience of AI features, designing for trust, explainability, and appropriate human-in-the-loop workflows
- Lead cross-functional alignment across data science, engineering, legal, compliance, and business stakeholders
- Define and own AI product metrics, model performance KPIs, user adoption, business impact, and responsible AI compliance measures
- Build and maintain the AI product backlog, prioritising based on business value, technical readiness, and risk
- Drive AI governance and responsible AI practices in product decisions, fairness, interpretability, bias mitigation
- Conduct user research and stakeholder interviews to identify high-leverage AI opportunities within the domain
- Communicate AI product progress and impact to executive stakeholders, translating technical complexity into business narrative
What You Need to Succeed
- 6+ years of product management experience with 2+ years working directly on AI/ML products in production
- Strong AI/ML literacy, ability to engage substantively with data scientists and engineers on model design, training, evaluation, and deployment constraints
- Proven ability to define and quantify business impact of AI features, not just feature delivery metrics
- User experience and human-centred design sensibility for AI products, trust, transparency, appropriate automation
- Excellent cross-functional stakeholder management, comfortable operating across engineering, legal, compliance, and business leadership
- Strong analytical skills, SQL proficiency, data analysis capability, metrics-driven decision making
- Experience with agile product development in complex, multi-team environments
- Executive communication skills, written and verbal, for both technical and non-technical audiences

- MBA from a leading institution or equivalent analytical training
