About This Role

As enterprises rapidly adopt Artificial Intelligence, securing AI systems has become as critical as building them. Protecting enterprise data, safeguarding AI models, ensuring regulatory compliance, and establishing responsible AI governance are now fundamental to every AI transformation initiative. You'll collaborate with Security Architects, AI Engineers, Data Scientists, Risk and Compliance teams, and business stakeholders to ensure AI systems are resilient, transparent, secure, and aligned with evolving regulatory expectations.

What You Will Do

  • Design and implement security controls for AI-enabled enterprise applications and platforms
  • Develop governance frameworks that support responsible AI adoption across the organisation
  • Conduct AI risk assessments covering models, prompts, data, infrastructure, and third-party AI services
  • Define security standards for LLMs, AI assistants, and AI-powered business applications
  • Implement Identity and Access Management (IAM) strategies for AI environments
  • Collaborate with Engineering, AI, Data, Legal, and Compliance teams to establish AI governance policies
  • Ensure compliance with applicable security, privacy, and AI governance regulations
  • Monitor AI systems for vulnerabilities, misuse, model risks, and emerging security threats
  • Support secure deployment of AI workloads across cloud and hybrid environments
  • Promote secure-by-design and responsible AI engineering practices throughout the software lifecycle

What You Need to Succeed

  • 5-12 years of cybersecurity experience with genuine depth in Identity and Access Management, Zero Trust Security, and cloud security
  • Application, API, and network security fundamentals, plus governance and risk management experience
  • AI-specific security expertise: LLM security, prompt injection and prompt security, AI model risk management
  • Familiarity with security frameworks such as NIST Cybersecurity Framework, ISO 27001, CIS Controls, MITRE ATT&CK, or OWASP Top 10
  • Hands-on experience with at least one major cloud platform, AWS, Microsoft Azure, or Google Cloud Platform
