About This Role

You will join our Cybersecurity department as a Cybersecurity Engineer, reporting to the VP. This is a new position created to strengthen our security posture and protect critical business assets from evolving threats. You will play a key role in reducing security incidents and ensuring the organisation maintains robust defenses against vulnerabilities.

What You Will Do

  • Conduct vulnerability assessments and penetration testing using industry-standard tools to identify security gaps in critical systems
  • Perform VAPT (Vulnerability Assessment and Penetration Testing) engagements to evaluate the security posture of business-critical applications and infrastructure
  • Manage and optimise vulnerability scanning operations using Qualys to maintain continuous visibility of the threat landscape
  • Analyse vulnerability findings, prioritise remediation efforts, and provide actionable recommendations to development and operations teams
  • Document security assessments, findings, and remediation strategies in clear technical reports for stakeholders
  • Stay current with emerging security threats and vulnerabilities to inform ongoing security improvements

What You Need to Succeed

  • 6+ years of demonstrated cybersecurity experience with focus on vulnerability management and risk assessment
  • 4+ years of hands-on Qualys platform experience including configuration, scanning, and reporting
  • Advanced proficiency in VAPT (Vulnerability Assessment and Penetration Testing) methodologies and execution
  • Proficiency with Nessus and other vulnerability scanning tools as secondary platforms
  • Current Qualys Vulnerability Analyst certification and Certified Ethical Hacker (CEH) certification
  • Demonstrated ability to translate vulnerability findings into actionable remediation strategies for business stakeholders
