About This Role
A hands-on technical leadership role for a Salesforce engineer who can bridge the gap between business requirements and platform architecture. You will own the Salesforce data model, lead integrations, and support a development team, while staying current with Salesforce releases and driving platform innovation.
What You Will Do
- Own high-level design and documentation of solution frameworks to address enterprise user needs
- Lead technical evaluation of user stories including gap analysis between Salesforce functionality and client requirements
- Maintain and extend all Salesforce extensions and third-party integrations
- Own Salesforce underlying data model, documentation, data governance, and extension
- Create internal how-to guides and technical training documentation
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify automation opportunities within Salesforce aligned to business goals
- Provide technical leadership to the Salesforce team, best practices in integration, development, testing, and deployment
- Support the Development Lead in managing complex solution implementation, code review, and deployments
- Troubleshoot problems and manage ongoing support requests from end users
- Stay current with Salesforce features, releases, and industry best practices
What You Need to Succeed
- BS/BA degree in Computer Science or Information Systems
- 4+ years of Salesforce development and/or administration experience
- Solid understanding of Salesforce.com architecture and API
- Proven track record on complex Salesforce projects involving third-party vendor integrations
- Hands-on experience with LWC, Apex classes, triggers, and Flows
- Experience using Salesforce data tools, Data Loader, Workbench, Visual Studio Code
- Experience with deployment toolsets and version control
- Experience with Agile tools, Jira, Azure DevOps, or equivalent
- Strong analytical, process design, and problem-solving skills
- Excellent communication skills for both technical and non-technical audiences
