About This Role

A technically strong production support role for an engineer who combines coding proficiency with operational instinct. You will work within a team of engineers and analysts, debugging production issues, managing ticket resolution, and ensuring system stability. On-call rotation is required including weekend support with weekday comp offs.

What You Will Do

  • Triage technical and functional issues as a key team contributor alongside engineers and analysts
  • Manage day-to-day ticket queues using coding skills, not just coordination
  • Debug production issues using Java and Spring Boot, root cause analysis and resolution
  • Monitor operational trends and job queues; respond to job failures and system anomalies
  • Execute regression checkouts, both ad hoc and planned release cycles
  • Create, coordinate, and track resolution of engineering stories required to fix production tickets
  • Perform data mining for production checkouts and ad hoc data research
  • Support release checkout POCs and coordinate with development and release teams
  • Participate in on-call support rotation, available for either of two shifts; weekend rotation with weekday comp offs

What You Need to Succeed

  • 6+ years of experience in application development or maintenance
  • College degree (Bachelor's) in a related technical or business field, or equivalent experience
  • Working knowledge of TypeScript, Java, and MongoDB
  • Ability to understand and navigate complex architectural systems
  • Strong analytical skills with demonstrated ability to perform root cause analysis and suggest rectification
